π Ford Mondeo Mk4 2.0 Tdci Fuel Filter Change Interval
Mk5 Mondeo on my 2.0 tdci doesn't have an atomiser/vapouriser. I thought it did until I looked for it. MK4 2.0 did. There is a variant of Mk5 that does. Think it's the high hp version 204ps Dilution would depend on driving style/journeys . The worst is the 1.5tdci .
After an oil change the oil becomes black again after only a few miles. If you suspect he oil has not been changed regularly I would recomend changing it more often, say 1/2 th enormal service interval. I normally chnage mine every 6.000 - Ford recommend 12,500. Oil is cheap engines are expensive!

Whilst on a journey the weekend had a message flash up saying fuel filer overload. Stopped at services and message went away. Today I get a message saying oil service.

Have done 3 belts on the 2.0 TDCi all F.L versions and 1 on a Volvo V50 2.0D (same engine). The hardest part is the crankshaft bolt , the other bits are straight forward , you need 1-2 jacks and axlestands.
